If you child is feeling ill…

BC CDC states,

There must be an assessment by a health care professional (this includes a nurse when they call 811) to eliminate COVID or other infectious diseases.  There is no note needed for a student to return just the parent stating they were assessed (811 included).

Students may still attend school if a member of their household has cold, influenza, or COVID-19 -like symptoms, provided the student is asymptomatic.  As per public health guidance, it is expected the symptomatic household member is seeking assessment by a health care provider.

Please note that symptoms must have resolved before students return.
